An appealing and luminous program, where pictorial inspiration drives composers to explore different kinds of brightness through varied textures and the full potential of the symphonic wind ensemble.
It is a repertoire that is demanding in many ways, yet highly rewarding to perform and to listen to. It consists of two works in very different styles. Homenaje a Sorolla is a fundamental, structural work in the artistic development of any ensemble, and it should be part of the repertoire of every major band.
This season, it will be one of our key central pieces, allowing us to continue growing both technically and musically, but above all, to share great works with our audience.

This year, we pay tribute in the first half of the program to a single composer: Óscar Navarro, one of today’s most prolific and sought‑after creators.
Navarro’s value lies in his ability to combine technical demand with popular appeal, international recognition with official commissions, and global dissemination of his works — making him a contemporary reference in band repertoire.
The second half will be full of surprises.
